Hi,
I am looking to deploy an agent to around 500 machines (new 9.5 agent)
I have deployed it directly from the core via push(right click schedule task add machines right click run) to 3 machines successfully and tests and everything run fine,
So I sampled 10 machines -
I right clicked - advance agent - selected peer only and use 90% of the LAN, the schedules task for the 10 machines said successful however it has been an hour and the machines have not shown they are now running out new 9.5 agent on the core but command prompt and arp -a on 1 of the 3 machines that already has it shows all the ip address connected that i scheduled it too,
Now i know the advance agent will go and search the cast and doing arp -a on the machine shows them connecting and transferring via LAN however, do i need to multicast cache only first? if so how? when doing an agent or advance agent and schedule task without a policy in there or is the default "keep in cache for 7 days" or something?
