Problem
Machines from Unmanaged Device Discovery (UDD) scan are missing
Cause
There are two Main Reasons why a computer will not show up when doing a UDD scan.
The computer has a entry in the Inventory.
If the computer recently had the LANDesk agent installed and the core still has a Inventory entry for the computer. The UDD scan will check the IP of the client it's scanning against with what is in Inventory. If it finds a match it will not add the computer to UDD.
The computer has a entry in Pending Unmanaged Client Deployments.
The computer was scanned through UDD in the past and was added to a Task to install an Agent. Once the computer has beed added to the Task it will be moved to the Pending Unmanaged Client Deployments.
Resolution
The computer has a entry in the Inventory.
Locate the Computer Inventory Record from all devices and delete it. Then rerun the UDD Scan
The computer has a entry in Pending Unmanaged Client Deployments.
From the Network View | Configuration | Pending unmanaged client Deployment, delete the Computer record. Then Rerun the UDD Scan.
